Appointments

We recommend contacting us online via patient triage on our website. If this is not available to you, please contact our Patient Care Advisor Team (PCA) on 01865 881206 or 01993 881330. They will be able to advise you on the most appropriate action for your issue.  

We have a large clinical team including Paramedic Practitioner, Advanced Nurse Practitioner and Clinical Pharmacists working alongside our GP and Nursing team.

How To Register As A Patient

If you are new to the area and would like to register with one of our GP’s, please check you are within our practice boundary and complete the online registration form via our website. If this is not available to you, please contact a PCA for a new patient questionnaire. 

When you register with us you will be allocated a named GP. For continuity of care, we encourage you to see your named GP each time you come to the surgery. If you are not happy with your allocated GP you may request a change and we will endeavour to accommodate your request. 

Home Visits

Home visits should only be requested for those who are unable to come to the Surgery because of serious illness and infirmity. They should be requested before 10am. Whenever possible we prefer to contact you from the Surgery. 

Prescriptions

Requests for repeat prescriptions will be dealt with within 7 calendar days. These can be ordered by dropping in your repeat request form or order via patient access or the NHS app. 

Chaperones 

Our patient care advisors are trained in chaperoning. Please ask if you would like a chaperone. 

Out Of Hours 

If you have an urgent problem when the surgery is closed. Please ring 111 your call will be answered by the out-of-hours service who cover when the surgery is closed. Please note that when contacting them, your telephone conversation will be recorded. 

Access 

Our surgeries are wheelchair accessible; the parking areas have designated bays for people with disabilities; the entrances are on level ground and have automatic doors. 

Teaching And Training

We are a well-established teaching practice offering teaching to doctors, medical students, nurses, and other health professionals. You will always be asked if you are happy for a student to observe a consultation or consult with you. Your care will not be affected if you decline.

All information held about patients is confidential. Your data is protected by Data Protection Act 2018 and UK General Data Protection Regulation 2021.
