Blood Pressure Review

If you are taking medication for hypertension, you should have your blood pressure checked every 12 months and your medication reviewed. This can be done by one of the nurses involved with blood pressure management or your GP. We welcome the opportunity to address any questions or issues you may like to discuss.

It is also a good time to reflect on the importance of general lifestyle issues that may be related to raised blood pressure including weight control, diet exercise and alcohol intake.

In many cases you may need an annual blood and urine test to monitor kidney function.

If you have agreed it with your doctor you may report your blood pressure monitoring to us by starting this review.
