We continue to work as hard as we possibly can to deliver flu vaccinations to those who are eligible. Due to the pandemic we have seen a vast increase in demand for the vaccination compared to previous years.
We have successfully run several flu clinics which have proved extremely effective for delivering the flu vaccinations to large amounts of patients in a short amount of time and will continue to do so.
We ask for your continued patience and support while we continue to deliver our flu vaccination initiative.
Ages 18-65 At Risk Patients
Due to unprecedented demand for the flu vaccination we are working through our eligible patient list as quickly as we can. The situation with available flu vaccinations seems to be constantly changing however; we have recently received confirmation that we will be receiving more stock of the vaccination suitable to be given to 18-65 year olds.
We are working on contacting those who are at the highest risk directly but we may be releasing more appointments which can be booked via our dedicated flu booking line 01993 880786.
Please note the line is extremely busy and will only be manned between 10:00 and 14:00 Mon-Fri.
You must listen to the greeting message which will confirm whether there is availability or not. We want to save the disappointment if you hold to get through and there are no appointments.
We are not currently making these appointments available to book online.
Age 65 and over
We have some appointments left which can be booked either online via Patient Access or by calling our dedicated flu booking line 01993 880786. As explained above, the flu line is only manned 10:00-14:00 Mon-Fri and you must listen to the greeting message to confirm there is availability.
Age 50-64 as per Government Announcement
Following the announcement that the flu vaccination will also be offered to the age group 50-64, we are still awaiting further guidance from the government. Please check the news section of our website for the update. We do not expect this update to be announced before November.
