Our Policies

Urgent – On the day	These appointments are reserved for patients whose condition will get worse if they are not seen by a doctor that day.	Please call the surgery before 11.00am
Telephone Consultations	Both practices offer six minute telephone appointments enabling patients to talk to a doctor.	Please call the surgery before 11.00am
Routine Appointments	You can book up to four weeks in advance with your “usual Doctor”.	Book appointments by phoning the surgery or using our GP Online Services
Flu Vaccination	We will be offering flu vaccinations this year from Saturday, September 29. Please contact reception to make an appointment. Due to a change in the way vaccines are to be offered this year we are running separate clinics for patients 65 and over, and below 65 and at risk. It would be very helpful if you could let the patient care advisor know which category you fall into when you book your appointment. This change is following research that has developed a different vaccine for each type of patient, which will be much more effective than in previous years.
Out of Hours	If you have an urgent health problem which cannot wait until the surgery is open please call 111.

	Online	You can either order online via our GP Online Services.
	In Person	Fill in a prescription request form or underline the items needed on the tear-off side of your prescription – put it into the letterbox provided.
